How are the charges calculated?
A shipment can contain several charging methods. Shared-container ocean freight (LCL) may use chargeable volume, air may compare actual and volumetric weight, full containers use equipment and route, and pickup or specialist work may be charged by shipment. A written DDP quote can include China operations, loading, documents, international freight, named taxes, clearance and final delivery.
Shenzhen storage is free for days 1–14 from the first batch’s arrival and RMB 100 per shipment per calendar day from day 15. Paid detailed product checks, new wooden packing, special unloading and actual exception charges are listed separately. Freight quotations are normally valid for three days; the actual document controls. An early estimate based on incomplete cargo information is not the final pre-dispatch price.

- List packing, storage, equipment, workers and insurance separately where applicable. Contractual liability is not full-value cargo insurance.

When is my final price confirmed?
After the planned goods have arrived and been brought together, before dispatch. We check the final packed sizes, weight, packing work, route and address, then confirm the final price and service scope with you in writing. The early estimate is not the final price.
After this final written confirmation, ordinary freight-rate movements will not change the confirmed freight price if the cargo, packing, route, address and service scope stay unchanged.
Different cargo or packing, a changed address or route, added services and contract-defined exceptional charges are reviewed separately. We explain the reason, cost or timing effect and options, then confirm any revised scope or price in writing before the affected next step. Final price confirmation does not make every tax assessment, examination, storage charge or added service automatically included.
Price confirmation and payment are separate. For ocean shipments, freight is paid after the goods are loaded into the container, under the agreed bill. Other transport modes have separately agreed payment terms.
Evidence of the operating route
The completed U.S. furniture case, completed Canadian whole-household case and completed Spain doors-and-windows case through Rotterdam document different types of real handling and delivery work. They do not set the price for another shipment.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a price before the furniture is packed?
Yes. Send a product photo or link, the supplier's city and your delivery postcode. We can start with the available information; the formal quote follows confirmed packed dimensions, weight and service scope.
Does door-to-door always include duties and taxes?
They can be included in an eligible written DDP plan. Check the named destination, included duties and taxes, importer arrangement and any exceptions. The words door-to-door alone do not define the tax scope.
When will you confirm my final shipping price?
After all goods planned for this shipment have arrived and been brought together, we check the packed measurements and scope and confirm the final price with you in writing before dispatch. Once confirmed, ordinary freight-rate movements will not change the confirmed freight while the cargo, packing, route, address and scope stay unchanged. Changed cargo, added services and contract-defined exceptional charges require separate written confirmation.
Is unloading included?
Not by default. Delivery to an agreed vehicle-accessible point, unloading to the ground and carrying goods indoors are separate tasks. The quote must say which are included and who provides any needed equipment or workers. Stairs and installation also require separate written agreement.
