01 / Received at our warehouse

First, put the whole shipment on one record.

This order contained 20 packages, recorded in seven size groups. Before presenting the final quotation, we brought the received cargo information together: package count, packed dimensions, recorded weight and the long piece that needed separate handling.

What the customer received

A cargo schedule linking each group to its dimensions, weight and supporting warehouse photos—not just a price per kilogram.

Why it matters: the customer can check which cargo the quotation covers before agreeing to the shipment.

02 / Measure, photograph, check the packing

The measurements came with photos.

One wooden crate was recorded at 158 × 72 × 102 cm and 141 kg—about 1.16 m³ of packed cargo. The customer received these ruler and scale photos with the quotation, so the recorded figures could be checked against the warehouse record.

Did the packing need changing?

For this order, the team advised that the existing packing did not need changing. The longest package, 358 × 143 × 32 cm, was recorded separately and its oversize charge was listed in the quotation.

What the photos show

They show the packed cargo used for the quotation—not furniture catalogue dimensions or a product-quality inspection. The remaining photo pages are available in the seven-page document directory.

How the rest of the 20 packages were recorded

Five packages were weighed together; their individual table weights are allocations from that combined reading, not five separate scale readings. Fourteen same-size packages share one representative photo set. We do not present this as 20 independently photographed and weighed packages.

The figures are the quotation's records. The photos are not a calibration certificate or an independent dimensional survey.

03 / Issue the final quotation

The customer received a seven-page plan.

The first page set out the fees. The second recorded the cargo. The third explained the route and delivery conditions. Four more pages supplied the measurement photos. These were parts of the same quotation, sent together.

04 / The customer's decision

The customer accepted the quote and chose sea freight.

After receiving the quotation, the customer asked us to proceed. The next questions were practical: when would the contract be provided, and when should payment be made?

The following arrangements were explained to the customer. They are not records of completed loading, payment, departure or delivery.

05 / The agreed next steps

Contract, loading record, then payment.

For this project, the team explained that the transport contract and a loading video would be provided around container loading. The sea-freight payment point is after the goods are loaded into the container, not merely after accepting the quotation.

Confirm the written arrangement
This quotation was based on the received cargo and stated scope. The contract records that arrangement; any change to the cargo or services needs separate written confirmation before dispatch.
Record the container loading
The customer was told a supervisor would record the cargo going into the container and its placement, and share the loading video.
Pay after container loading
This is a separate milestone from quote acceptance. No completed loading video, signed contract or payment receipt is presented for this project yet.

The quotation set out the route below. It is the project's agreed plan, not a record that these transport stages have already happened.

What updates were agreed?

An update when the vessel departs; then Monday-morning progress messages during the sea leg, followed by clearance and warehouse-transfer updates. These are the communication arrangements explained for this order.

What must be ready at the address?

The local carrier coordinates the delivery appointment. Vehicle access, unloading equipment and people on site must be arranged before arrival. Delivery to the agreed handover point does not automatically include carrying the cargo indoors.
